VR for entertainment
Bigger Inside designs and develops immersive virtual reality experiences for entertainment professionals. Founded in 2018 in Montpellier, France, the company offers turnkey solutions for laser-game venues and VR arcades.
The approach
After 5 years of R&D, the team developed proprietary technology that merges real environments with video games. Players move freely in physical arenas while immersed in virtual worlds.
Motion Capture
Motion capture expertise integrated directly into the VR experience. Player movements are captured and rendered in real-time on their avatars.
Custom Environments

Virtual environments designed to precisely match physical venue spaces. Each arena is custom-modeled to merge the real and virtual worlds.
My role
Co-founder and lead developer of Bigger Inside, I led the design and development of a large part of the technical stack powering our VR experiences.
It all started with the eXosuit — our motion capture equipment. I developed the microcontroller firmware that captures player movements in real-time, turning every physical gesture into an in-game action.
On the software side, I worked on the game architecture, the networking layer that synchronizes multiple players in free-roam, VR rendering, and several gameplay systems. I also designed the 3D environment creation tools that let us model virtual worlds mapped to real physical spaces — a core piece of our technology — as well as the companion app used by game masters to manage live sessions. Asset integration, game systems, production pipeline: all areas where I played a key role, alongside a team of co-founders with complementary skills.
Presence
Showcased at CES 2019, incubated at BIC Montpellier.
